Delicious pizza does not just happen overnight. It takes years of experience, family recipes, and traditions passed on from generation to generation. Originally immigrating to New York in 1970, the Amico family has now become well known in the town of Castellammare Del Golfo, and was one of the first families to open an Italian restaurant in the area. Sicilian family recipes have been passed down throughout the years and a few New York secrets were picked up along the way - giving their pizza the combination you've been looking for. A perfect blend of Mozzarella, Romano, Parmesan, and Provolone cheeses creates the ideal topping for our delicious pizzas.
Our sauce is fresh and cooked daily, combining fragrant garlic, Italian spices and herbs to bring out the flavor of our tomatoes. Thick or thin, our crust bakes to a rich crispy golden color to create the signature of our pizza. We use only the finest of ingredients, and provide an uncommonly high level of personalized service and quality to our customers.
Over the past 8 years, Sal Amico and Joe Lay have continued the Amico family tradition by co-founding 4 other Italian Restaurants: Esposito's in Davie, Grand 1 and 2 in Plantation, and Annie's in Tamarac. The family restaurants have the pizza you've been looking for - an ideal combination of Italian tradition and New York flare. The Amico businesses continue to bring customers what they've been looking for –delicious pizza every time!
